Well we love it and we don't. We loved it for years but it's hard to clean and needs to be totally dry before putting away or otherwise one of these days you'll be in for a surprise of mold. Not a house mold problem but since it happened we are over zealous about leaving this put upside down in basket sink drainer to not just drain but also dry out. We have very hard water and that's probably adding to the situation. On occasion we take vinegar and other food safe cleaners to it. Otherwise it boils water fast and we have had our since Oct. 2001 when during a 6 month time period where we were moving ourselves but slowly 1700 miles away so numerous trips we got back to property we were moving from to realize we'd packed all our pots and pans and dishes...we had nothing to cook with left. So rather than buy a lot of things we knew we could make instants with this and also picked up a Mr. Egghead egg cooker and love it too. I was torn between 3 and 4 stars here. But over all until the mold shock we found this delightful though only used occasionally. It will boil my 2 cups of water needed for making Lemon Meringue Pie in the short time it takes to separate the four eggs and cut the 3 tablespoons of butter and grate the lemon and squeeze it as in prep for making the pie filling...which only takes 3 minutes from the time you pour in this boiling water to the sugar and cornstarch you've blended in our pot. So it's a speedy deal using this pot. Also I don't like the cord and so we are looking into cordless electric stainless pots today that have a large cavity so able to see and clean all corners of the pot....the biggest and really only real negative about this item. Not being able to get and view inside it all the way to clean.
