Best kettle I have ever owned! SS pour spout w/ss screen is wonderful. I have experience with the plastic ones, yuck, and they readily disintegrate....the kettles w/plastic spout screens "go away" (in a few months) in the water you consume AND then the auto-shut off becomes useless due to no pressure buildup in the pot.... pot will keep going and boil dry and just stay on. NOT this one! I love it, love it, love it! Water boils fast and shuts off when supposed to, I can turn it on and forget it!

This was our first electric kettle and we loved it. About 10 months after initial purchase, however, the auto shutoff stopped working. Now, it's too dangerous to use. Sigh.
