This thing is great, it boils tea quickly and perfectly sets the temperature for the type of tea that I want.

So far the only drawback is that I can't seem to find a power switch. When I leave the office for the day I have to unplug it instead.

The unlock button didn't work so water could not be dispensed. I exchanged for another one but no luck either. The 2nd one has the dispense button stuck, so it won't stop dispensing even after you stop pressing (exactly opposite from 1st one). I got so fed up that I just returned it for refund. My mom bought the smaller model SP-3016 and that one works great. The electronics panel on this SP-5016 may be poorly made. If you don't mind a smaller pot, get the SP-3016 3.2L instead.
