I must say, I was rather surprised by all of the negative commentary about this kettle. I drink at least seven cups of tea a day, so a kettle is something that is very important to me, and something also that I do much research on.
To those whom have had problems with spillage, are you sure you are not overfilling your pot? I've just bought this today, and have not had a single issue. The orange colour is lovely and cheers me immensely when I go to answer its whistle. Speaking of which...
And... another perfect pour. The spout's mouth is a bit small, but easily worked with if you go slowly. Very worth the price, this.

Watch out for burns - N. Walsh - New York
The spout is too close to the handle so the steam burns your hand when pouring. Also the water does not pour correctly and gets all over. A terrible design, didn't anyone test it?
