I was seeking a contemporary and attractive device to boil water quickly. Most units available are not particularly good looking., and rather conventional in their styling. I came upon this Cloer unit, which seemed to have good reviews. Since receiving it and putting it into use, I'm delighted with it. It's attractive enough to stay on the kitchen counter, and it boils water even more rapidly than the microwave. It's very easy to see when the water is done, since the blue light which clearly illuminates the water as it heats, suddenly goes out, as the unit automatically turns off. I'm a new user of this kettle but I have to say so far I am very happy with it. After reading some of the reviews, I was a little concerned about the taste of the water but I've not had any issue with it; the water tastes just fine. The kettle is very easy to use, it looks nice displayed in my kitchen and what can I say, the blue water is pretty cool.
